Thus, The Jet City Coalition was born – an organization devoted to repairing and fortifying his home district.

‘Jet City’ is a term used informally to represent the neighbors and businesses around Chicago’s O’Hare Airport, more formally encompassing the 55th legislative district. No matter how you use the phrase, it centers around our shared culture and community.

The Jet City Coalition is a diverse, agile organization devoted to modeling servant leadership and neighborly love around O’Hare and beyond.

Through its core pillars of Advocacy, Beautification and Connection, The Jet City Coalition offers a variety of free programs across the 55th legislative district to serve seniors and other vulnerable populations. Additionally, the organization seeks to actively build a shared sense of pride among the people, businesses and neighborhoods surrounding O’Hare.

As one of the fastest-growing direct service and advocacy organizations in Chicago, its work has been featured in several local publications as well as ABC 7 Chicago.

From securing and distributing more than 1,000 coats and winter gear for the 55th legislative district to shoveling out dozens of seniors trapped by the largest snowfall in Chicago’s history, members of The Jet City Coalition understand that true leadership involves working hand in hand alongside the people you serve.
